Which Axis Bank card suits whom
Axis Bank ACE Credit Card (₹499 a year)
A simple flat-rate cashback card with a small fee that is waived at ₹2 lakh. Eligibility as stated: Not on fetched official section; aggregator says minimum income about ₹3 lakh (unverified).
Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card (₹500 a year)
The headline 25% is for Airtel bills paid through the Airtel Thanks app, and the cap is tied to the base cashback you earn, so it is a small bonus. Eligibility as stated: Primary cardholder age 18-70, resident of India (official page); apply via Airtel Thanks app.
Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card (₹500 a year)
A good fit if Flipkart, Myntra or Swiggy are where your online money goes: 5% on Flipkart and Cleartrip (a ₹4,000 cashback cap per quarter for each), 7.5% on Myntra, 4% on Swiggy and 1% elsewhere. Eligibility as stated: Aggregator: salaried ₹15,000+/month; self-employed above ₹30,000/month.
Axis Bank Select Credit Card (₹3,000 a year)
Its base rate is 5 points per ₹100, with the doubled rate limited to retail shopping up to 2,000 points a month. Eligibility as stated: Age 18-70 (primary), net income ₹6 lakh+ per annum (official Axis page; indicative).
IndianOil Axis Bank Credit Card (₹500 a year)
For IndianOil pump users with a small fee: 20 EDGE Points per ₹100 at IndianOil outlets on the first ₹5,000 of fuel a month. Eligibility as stated: Primary cardholder aged 18-70, resident Indian or NRI. No income criterion on official page.
Axis Bank Neo Credit Card (₹250 a year)
An entry-level Axis card whose points are worth little: 1 EDGE point per ₹200, about 0.1% at the ₹0.20 a point we assume (Axis's own value for these points is not on the pages we read). Eligibility as stated: Primary cardholder age 18-70; Indian resident or NRI (official Axis page; indicative).
Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card (₹12,500 a year)
Rewards are 12 EDGE points per ₹200 up to ₹1.5 lakh a month and much more on Travel EDGE bookings, but we value points at only ₹0.20 because the transfer ratio is uncertain after reported changes. Eligibility as stated: Primary age 18-70 (add-on 18+); net salary ₹24 lakh/year or ITR income ₹24 lakh; resident of India. Burgundy variant needs Burgundy relationship. Lifetime Free variant for Burgundy Salary Account holders (opened on/after 1 Jul 2026, salary ₹2 lakh+/month).
What these cards share, and where they differ
Axis sells three kinds of card here: flat or capped cashback (ACE, Flipkart Axis, Airtel Axis), EDGE-points cards (Neo, IndianOil, Select, Magnus) and the miles card Atlas, which is currently waitlisted. ACE's flat 1.5% suits spread-out spending, Flipkart Axis suits heavy Flipkart and Myntra buyers, and the two are compared in ACE vs Flipkart Axis. Magnus and Select are the premium cards, with a ₹12,500 and a ₹3,000 fee and spend-gated lounge access.
Terms shared across the range, from Axis's MITC and its 28 August 2026 revision: finance charges of 3.75% a month on most cards (printed as 55.55% a year; 3.0% on Magnus), 1% fees on rent per transaction and, from 20 December 2024, on utilities from ₹25,000, fuel from ₹50,000 and wallet loads from ₹10,000 a cycle, a 3.5% markup on rupee transactions at international locations from 28 August 2026 (2% on Magnus), no rewards on tolls and bridge fees, gift cards moved to a separate non-earning category, and Priority Pass no longer accepted at Indian domestic lounges for Select and Magnus.
