  1. SBI Card: 1% fee on fuel spend above ₹50,000 a cycle from 1 December 2026

1 Dec 2026 · SBI Card · official scheduled, not yet in effect

Scheduled for 1 December 2026. SBI Card’s customer notices page (website notice dated 27 Oct 2026, read 30 Oct 2026) says that if all fuel transactions in a billing cycle (MCCs 5172, 5541, 5542, 5983) exceed ₹50,000, a 1% fee is charged on the total fuel spend, not only on the amount above ₹50,000. The notice does not name a card, so we treat it as applying to all SBI Card credit cards, including the BPCL SBI Octane, but we did not confirm that. A separate notice from the same date adds a 1% fee on each transport transaction above ₹30,000 (MCCs 4111, 4784, 4131). Most households stay below the fuel threshold.

  2. Amex MRCC: 50% fee waiver ends and points rules change from 15 November 2026

15 Nov 2026 · American Express · official scheduled, not yet in effect

Scheduled for 15 November 2026. Amex India’s consumer-experience notice (read 30 Oct 2026) says the 50% annual-fee waiver on spends of ₹90,000 or more in a membership year will not be available from that date for the Membership Rewards Credit Card. The notice does not mention the full waiver at ₹1.5 lakh; the card’s product page still shows it, together with the 50% tier, so the page is out of date on the 50% tier. The notice also says that from 15 November, milestone spend is counted by the date a transaction posts, and bonus points are awarded at the end of the calendar month in which the milestone is reached. If you hold two or more Basic Amex cards, points are kept separately for each card. If a payment is still due when your next statement is generated, you stop earning and redeeming points until it is paid. Separately, the notice pauses new supplementary card applications from 27 October 2026, and the product page says new card applications are paused (no date given).

  3. Amex Platinum Travel: ₹1.9 lakh milestone removed from 10 September 2026

    10 Sept 2026 · American Express · official

Amex India’s Platinum Travel general terms (PDF dated 16 October 2026, read 31 October 2026) set out three milestone schedules. Up to 8 March 2026: 7,500 points at ₹1.9 lakh and 10,000 points at ₹4 lakh in a membership year, each with further bonus points claimable by phone. Between 9 March and 9 September 2026: 7,500 points at ₹1.9 lakh, 10,000 points at ₹4 lakh and a ₹20,000 Taj Stay voucher at ₹7 lakh. Effective 10 September 2026: only the ₹4 lakh milestone (10,000 points) and the ₹7 lakh Taj Stay voucher remain, so the ₹1.9 lakh milestone, worth 7,500 points, is gone. Cardmembers who already took the ₹10,000 Taj voucher at the old ₹4 lakh milestone on or before 8 March 2026 are eligible for a ₹10,000 voucher at ₹7 lakh from 10 September 2026. This replaces an earlier version of this entry that rested on an aggregator report. Amex’s consumer-experience updates page also says that from 15 November 2026 points redemption moves into the new Amex app and transferring Membership Rewards points between cards is discontinued; Platinum Travel is among the cards named. The card is currently closed to new applications (see its page).

  4. Axis Bank: changes effective 28 August 2026 (tolls, DCC markup, lounges)

    28 Aug 2026 · Axis Bank · official

Axis Bank’s general credit card terms revision (read 29 Oct 2026) takes effect on 28 August 2026. The dynamic currency conversion markup rises from 1.5% to 3.5%. The late fee for balances above ₹50,000 becomes ₹1,300; lower slabs are unchanged. No rewards are earned on bridge fees, road fees and tolls. Gift cards “will continue to be excluded” and now sit in their own “Gift Card” category, so that is not a new exclusion. This general notice is the one we use for the Flipkart Axis and ACE cards. Card-specific notices for Select and Magnus (read 30 Oct 2026) carry the same fee and exclusion changes, with one difference: the Magnus DCC markup rises to 2%, not 3.5%. Both also say that from 28 August 2026 Priority Pass is not valid at domestic lounges in India; you present the card and boarding pass instead. Later dates in the Select notice: from 1 October 2026, spends in non-earning categories no longer count towards the ₹3 lakh milestone, and from 1 November 2026 the District buy-one-get-one offer needs ₹25,000 spend in the previous 3 months. Both notices say complimentary memberships renew only with your consent from 15 November 2026.

  5. HSBC Live+: 10% category cap shared, international spends stop earning

    26 Jul 2026 · HSBC India · official

HSBC India’s Live+ product page (read 30 Oct 2026) lists 10% cashback on dining, food delivery, grocery, shopping and utility spends, capped at ₹1,200 a month in total, and 1.5% unlimited cashback on most other spends. It says that from 26 July 2026 Amazon and Flipkart spends earn 1.5%, and that 1.5% cashback is no longer earned on international spends. HSBC lists a 10% Myntra cashback among its welcome gifts until 31 October 2026 (the page re-read on 31 October 2026 still shows this wording). The page does not show the pre-26 July terms, so we cannot state what each of these replaced. Annual fee ₹999, waived above ₹2 lakh spend a year.

  6. OneCard: utility bills stop earning rewards from 15 July 2026 (Federal Bank terms)

    15 Jul 2026 · OneCard (FPL Technologies) · official

The Federal Bank One co-branded card terms (effective 15 June 2026, read 30 Oct 2026) say that from 15 July 2026 bills and utility payments earn no reward points and are not eligible for 5X. The same terms list money transfers, rent, fuel, cash withdrawals and wallet loads as non-earning, and say no fee is charged to redeem points. An earlier aggregator report gave 29 August 2026, which this document does not support. We read only the Federal Bank terms; OneCard is also issued by other banks, and we have not confirmed the same change in their terms. The terms do not restate the rupee value of a point, and we found no official notice on new-card issuance, so we keep the card as waitlisted.

  7. IndusInd Bank: late payment charge bands revised from 15 June 2026

    15 Jun 2026 · IndusInd Bank · official

IndusInd’s MITC for premium credit cards (read 30 Oct 2026) prints two late payment tables side by side. Until 14 June 2026 the bands were: up to ₹100 nil, ₹101 to ₹500 ₹100, ₹501 to ₹1,000 ₹350, ₹1,001 to ₹10,000 ₹550, ₹10,001 to ₹25,000 ₹800, ₹25,001 to ₹50,000 ₹1,100 and above ₹50,000 ₹1,300. From 15 June 2026: nil up to ₹100, ₹100 to ₹500, ₹500 up to ₹1,000, ₹600 for ₹1,001 to ₹5,000, ₹750 for ₹5,001 to ₹10,000, ₹900 for ₹10,001 to ₹25,000, ₹1,100 to ₹50,000 and ₹1,300 above. A balance of ₹2,000 therefore moves from ₹550 to ₹600 and ₹8,000 from ₹550 to ₹750, while the top two bands are unchanged. The document says the fee is waived for some private and heritage variants. 8. HDFC Regalia Gold: base earn rate, lounge condition and Boarding Edge

    15 May 2026 · HDFC Bank · official

HDFC Bank’s product feature change notice for Regalia Gold (read 30 Oct 2026) sets the base reward at 5 points per ₹200 on eligible spends from 15 May 2026. The notice does not state the earlier rate. From the same date it adds Boarding Edge (any 2 travel benefits per calendar quarter, chosen by uploading a boarding pass on SmartBuy), sets the DCC markup at 1.75% and the card reissuance fee at ₹199. Domestic lounge access (3 visits per calendar quarter) needs ₹60,000 or more of spend in the preceding calendar quarter, from the quarter starting 1 July 2026. Six international Priority Pass visits a year continue unchanged.

  9. SBI Card: late payment charge bands revised from 1 May 2026

    1 May 2026 · SBI Card · official

SBI Card’s customer notices page (website notice dated 29 March 2026, read 30 October 2026) says that from 1 May 2026 late payment charges are revised to ₹100 for an outstanding amount above ₹100 up to ₹500, and ₹500 for an amount above ₹500 up to ₹1,000, with the rest of the charges unchanged. SBI’s MITC (read 30 October 2026) lists nil up to ₹100, ₹750 for ₹1,000 to ₹10,000, ₹950 to ₹25,000, ₹1,100 to ₹50,000 and ₹1,300 above, plus a further ₹100 if the minimum due is missed in two consecutive cycles. The notice does not state the earlier amounts for the two lowest bands, so we cannot say how much the change cost a cardholder. See late fees and interest compared.

  10. Airtel Axis Bank card: cashback caps and partner offers revised from 12 April 2026

    12 Apr 2026 · Axis Bank · official

Axis Bank’s cashback terms for this card (effective 12 April 2026, read 30 Oct 2026) make the caps depend on your own spending. The 25% on Airtel mobile, broadband, WiFi and DTH bills paid in the Airtel Thanks app is capped at twice the 1% base cashback earned in the same statement cycle. The 10% on other utility bills in the app is capped at one times that base cashback. With no base spend, these two earn nothing. Axis’s April 2024 terms had fixed ₹250 caps per statement cycle. The terms also list 10% value back at Zomato, Blinkit and District movies, up to ₹200 a month per partner, with a ₹499 minimum order on Zomato and Blinkit. We did not find the earlier Swiggy and BigBasket offers in any Axis document for this card, so we cannot confirm that they were removed. The 12 April 2026 terms and the product page no longer mention lounge access, but we found no notice that states its removal.

  11. Axis Magnus: reported miles-transfer cut not confirmed by Axis

    2 Apr 2026 · Axis Bank · aggregator

A CardTrail article (updated 4 Apr 2026) reports that on 2 April 2026 Axis cut the Magnus miles-transfer ratio from 5:2 to 5:1 and removed Accor, Marriott Bonvoy and Qatar Airways as transfer partners. We could not confirm this. Axis’s Magnus product page (read 30 Oct 2026) still says 2 partner miles for every 5 EDGE points across 20 travel partners, and we found no Axis notice of a cut. We did not verify the partner list itself. We value Magnus points at ₹0.20 on vouchers and Travel EDGE; that is our own assumption.

  12. SBI Card Cashback: caps and exclusions from 1 April 2026

    1 Apr 2026 · SBI Card · official

SBI Card’s notice on the Cashback SBI Card (read 30 Oct 2026) says that from 1 April 2026 cashback is capped at ₹4,000 per statement cycle: ₹2,000 on 5% online spends and a separate ₹2,000 on 1% offline spends. Digital gaming (MCCs 7993, 7994, 5816), tolls (4784) and government-related transactions (9222, 9311, 9402) are added to the existing exclusions. The notice does not state the earlier caps.

  13. SBI Card: statement-credit redemption capped at 60,000 points a month and in blocks of 4,000 from 1 April 2026

    1 Apr 2026 · SBI Card · official

SBI Card’s customer notices page (read 30 Oct 2026) lists two revisions effective 1 April 2026 for redeeming reward points as statement credit: a cap of 60,000 points a month, and redemption only in multiples of 4,000 points. Both apply to all eligible SBI credit cards except a few named co-brands (Air India SBI Signature for the cap; the two PhonePe SBI cards for both). At the 4 points = ₹1 rate SBI states on its SimplyCLICK and SimplySAVE pages, a block of 4,000 points is ₹1,000 and the monthly cap is ₹15,000. The notice does not list the eligible cards; we list the SBI points cards in our data, but check your own card’s terms before relying on this. On this rule a balance below 4,000 points cannot be redeemed as statement credit.
