Fee maths: The ₹500 annual fee is waived at ₹1,00,000 a year of eligible spend, about ₹8,300 a month. All of our profiles clear that, so the fee costs nothing on them. On our 6 profiles it nets from ₹2,971 (first card, light spender) to ₹22,800 (frequent flyer), equal to 0.9% to 1.8% of spend across the profiles. Without a waiver, the metro salaried category mix earns back the fee from about ₹3,000 a month of total spend.

After fees and caps, best-case redemption. Use your own spend.

Our take: A customisable card: pick one platform among PayZapp, Amazon and Flipkart for 3% and two merchant packs for 5%, plus 5% on SmartBuy bookings and 1% elsewhere. Each of the 3% and 5% tiers has a 500 CashPoints monthly cap. It comes in Visa and RuPay variants. The ₹500 fee is waived at ₹1 lakh a year, you need at least 1,000 CashPoints to redeem, and fuel and rent earn nothing. Because each bonus tier is capped at ₹500 a month, the benefit tops out low; it suits moderate spenders who pick the right packs.
